I know, I know, the first review on the London page is an extremely fancy place.  I chose this restaurant as it holds a few memories.  My dad used to be wined and dinned by some big American lawyers and they took us here.  Quite young at the time all I can remember is WOW!  Expensive but what the heck! You want a great night and be treated like royalty then here you go!

New to me this one.  Been to the Royal Festival Hall before but not here.  One of our first reviews so many thanks!  Have added the link at the bottom for people to follow.  Seems to be a lot on offer...

"The newly re-opened Festival Hall is a joy to behold in its 1950's splendour.  The Sklyon Restaurant also has wonderful design features and a great view across the River Thames.  Food quite pricey as I suppose you would expect in such a
location.  However, I found the service to be appalling.  Not only did the waiter and bar staff take a long time to serve my party of four but they kept on forgetting things when they did.  It really took the edge off a good night out for me and did seem to had about an hour to the time we spent there.  The restaurant was busy but there were plenty of staff.  I would advice people to go to the Balcony Bar or the public bar next to the Members area on the top floor for good views and no irritation from poor staff."
