The idea behind the site!

This is a trial, an idea that might fall flat on its backside but here goes.  As a family we like to eat out, as a couple we like to go out have a few drinks etc..  We have found that the best way to find a place is through word of mouth.  So the idea is to create a site that tells others of the places that offer good value for money, good food and drink, good service and basically a great place to go. 

This is where I need the help of others!  The places already on the site are our favourite haunts,  places where we have been that we haven't had to spend a fortune but had a good evening out!  Please look at our suggestions, obviously we can't guarantee your night, but I would like to feel that they are honest.  Then, go somewhere new, take a picture of the place and tell us if it is any good.  Eventually the number of places and honest reviews will grow and grow into a website of great places to eat and drink.
